Big Hugs!

Summer Fete 2015

our volunteer Tom with the Mayor of Corby at the Fete

Our Summer Fete was blessed with both good weather and great numbers this year - raising £2,075.66!

Although the day started off a bit rainy, and continued to be a bit windy, the sun shone and the temperature rose to give us the perfect conditions for our outdoor Fete, held in the hospice grounds. We had facepainting, a ride-on train, bouncy castle, beat the goalie and all the usual goodies of games, gifts and, of course, tea and cake!

We also had some wonderful dancers from Nene Valley Dance come and perform for us at intervals throughout the day to add an almost carnival atmosphere to the day - which was opened by the Mayor of Corby, Councillor Peter McEwan.

Many Thanks to all who came along and made it such a fantastic day and a brilliant total. Have a great summer!
