Volunteering Opportunities at Lakelands Hospice

Lakelands has two retail premises, namely the Emporium in Corby town centre and the Lakelands Warehouse on St James’ Industrial Estate Corby.

Opportunities at the hospice

Voluntary roles at the hospice include making refreshments for our patients, driving the minibus to collect patients, and manning our reception area.

Voluntary roles in fundraising include supporting the team with a mailout of our newsletter, helping out at our events or collecting some of our yellow boxes that are in the community.

Voluntary roles at our Emporium include sorting donations, serving customers in our busy café or helping with administration support.

Voluntary roles at our Warehouse include collecting donations (this may involve some heavy lifting), serving customers or helping with administration support.

Volunteering roles within the Hospice include reception, day room hosts, minibus drivers and hosts, music therapists, kitchen support, fundraisers, box collectors, voluntary drivers, gardeners, complimentary therapists and administrative assistants.
